My Favourite Things

There are so many power banks to choose from. (see Power Banks under Tips in the Learning Center) I love my power bank! I never have to worry about running out of power for my camera when I am travelling. So many times my day out lives the life of my phone battery but having a small power bank on me, I never have to worry about my phone going dead. I couldn’t travel without one.

I think everyone needs one of these! Whether you are travelling, at the beach, on a boat, or somewhere that there is a possibility of getting wet, these cases come in very handy! They are perfect for taking into the water when you dont want to leave your phone unattended. I actually have used my case more for site seeing when the weather isn’t the best. I hang it around my neck so I can still take pictures but I don’t have to worry about my phone getting wet! These cases are inexpensive and should be on everyone’s must have list! NOTE: Please ensure that this case fits the dimensions of your phone. If not, choose a different case/brand.

For all of you world travellers, what better way is there to record all the countries that you have been too?  I like this map because it is very colorful but if this map isn’t for you there is a large selection of maps in different colours and styles to choose from.   

I love travelling with a hand held scale.   It’s nice to not have any surprises while you are checking in your bags at the airport.  As I usually only travel with a carry on, this scale has saved me more often that I can count.  I have often shuffled the contents of one bag to another before arriving at the airport in order to avoid the overage fees.

Now you can be the one at the beach whose towel isn’t flying in the wind!  These clips come in all shapes and sizes.  They also can double as clothes pegs for hanging your wet towels back at your hotel room.

I think this was one of the best inventions!   If you ever had fears about  how to breathe while snorkling, this mask will diminish them all.  Simply put it on and breathe normally.  Comes in different colours and a carry case. Great for all ages and easy to use.

Keep all your memories in one place!  My Seagate harddrive keeps everything organized and holds thousands of pictures in one convenient location.  Never worry about your computer crashing when you have everything backed up an your portable hard drive.

When I travel, I require a device that keeps me connected so I can work whereever I am and keep in touch with my friends and family.   My new Chromebook is perfect for this and at a incredibly  affordable price.  For under $400, I can work on my website, watch Netflix, play music, skype and anything else that is web based.  Perfect for travelling!  

Hidden money belts are a fantastic way to keep your money, credit cards, and passport safe.  These under garmet money belts are comfortable and keep your valuables close to you at all times.

I love this daypack.  It is lightweight and foldable making it easy to put in your suitcase or backpack for an extra daypack while travelling.  It has lots of compartments and even a place for water bottles!  Highly recommend!

Something so simple that can save a lot of money when travelling.   Save money on drinks just by carrying some water flavouring with you on your trip.  Take a water bottle with you and add a bit of flavour!  Tastes like juice and gives you a break from water.   When I was in Rome in the summer, I was drinking 8 bottles of water a day due to the heat.  As I am not a fan of water, Mio saved my pocketbook and I had tasty drinks all day long.  My favourites are Mango Peach and Blueberry Lemonade.

These locks are great to travel with.  They seem to fit every size of locker that I have come across and are very hard to break into if you don’t have a key.  (I know from experience!  It wasn’t easy to cut it open with a saw when I lost my key!)  The only downside to this lock is it requires a key.  But if a key lock is what you want, I would highly recommend this one.
