Indian Arm Boat Cruise

What a beautiful day for a cruise! We had the most wonderful lunch with spectacular scenery. We all can’t wait to do another one next year!

Paint Night

A fun new experience for many. We brought out our artistic sides (or not) and had a night full of fun and laughs!

Horseshoes

Thank you to the Abbotsford Horseshoe Club who welcomed us with open arms and taught us how to play. A fun evening trying something new.

Cheesecakes, pies, and coffees. Yummy! An enjoyable night of catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones.

Greendale Acres – Weenie and Marshmallow Roast

We had so much fun last year, we had to do it again! A run through the corn maze, some selfies with animals, listening to live music, all while enjoying hotdogs and marshmallows around the fire with great company. Such a wonderful evening!

Yuk Yuks Comedy Club

We enjoyed a night full of laughs at Elements Casino. We even got some play time in on the slots!

Abbotsford Airshow

We all piled into one big vehicle and off we went for the evening. Fast planes, fireworks, and a night of food. The drone show was a favorite for many!

Granite Falls Zodiac Tour

Last year we loved the Bowen Island tour so this year we did Granite Falls. What a way to see Vancouver and the Indian Arm as we zipped through the water in a zodiac boat!

Cypress Mountain Coaster

This was so much some of us had to go twice! The coaster was a blast and the views were spectacular!

Dark Table Dinner

Dining in the dark…. a great experience! Without the sense of sight, the senses of touch, taste, hearing and smell are intensified AND we still managed to get most of the food in our mouths!

Golf Anyone?

A favorite outing among many of our members. We golfed several times this season at all different courses. We don’t seem to be improving much, but we are all having a great time trying!

Olund Trail Hike

An enjoyable hike down to the river and back on a gorgeous day led by one of our very own VPR members! Thanks Dave!

Retro Music Festival – Weekend Getaway – SunPeaks

A fun weekend had by all! We booked in for two nights and spent the days and evenings listening to tribute bands of John Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Bryan Adams, AC/DC, and Journey. It was a first time visiting SunPeaks for most of us and we all agreed that we would like to go back!

Dinner at Gian’s

Delicious ethnic food experience!! 4 people who attended the dinner had never had Indian food before and like the rest of us, quite enjoyed it! One of our members said “It was fun going as a group because I don’t think I would have tried an Indian restaurant if we didn’t go together as I wouldn’t have known what to order.”

Year End Party

This is the first year we had our year end party in a home. There were over 20 of us eating delicious food, visiting with new and old friends, laughing, and having a riot playing games. It was a fantastic evening for all!
